First Time Attending CMI?

All students have 2 options for their CMI 2020 course offerings!

OPTION 1 - DOUBLE MAJORS give equal time to CMI's traditional course offering and our contemporary/arts course offerings. A student involved in Double Majors will participate in a Morning Major course and an Afternoon Major course.

OPTION 2 – ELECTIVES/MAJOR gives students the choice of two electives in the morning and major ensembles in the afternoon and evening. Students interested in Option 2 will choose from the following elective choices at registration day at CMI on a space-available basis. However, please indicate your INTEREST in the elective choices below (This will help us to staff accordingly to student interest). With this option, Brass and Percussion Majors will automatically be placed in a chorus (Men's, Women's, or Mixed - based on age and gender) during one of their elective times, unless they choose to audition for CMI Chorus.
